Was out today on errands, and saw this. Evidently the rescue squad still thinks they're above the law, and can do whatever they want, when they want. As you can clearly see, NO emergency lights on and parked right in front of the store! Of course 'Achan' allows it, as does Lobo. Where's the accountability??

I feel very bad for this man's two sons, but this man NEVER should've been in law enforcement to begin with. Guess he didn't want to face his punishment. this is only serving to show that better 'vetting' needs to be done, so we get quality, HONORABLE law enforcement, and not individuals like this.

Just received the Spring Issue of the Bensalem Township Propaganda Newsletter (My hubby refers to it as 'Provda'), and saw something that shocked and disgusted me. If you look on page 4 of this piece of propaganda, you will see that our illustrious Sherriff Lobo and his cohorts went to the funerals of both NYPD Officers Ramos and Liu. Something Lobo had NO BUSINESS attending, and he knows it!! When I saw this, I almost threw up!! It's very obvious that the ONLY reason Lobo went to this was NOT because he cares anything for these honorable men, but to get his 15 minutes of fame. Even worse is that he left this town in the incapable hands of Deputy Perkins, (Thank the Lord nothing serious occurred!!), which makes me shudder. Last time you left anything in his hands people were almost put in jeopardy!! You know Lobo, you have done some pretty low things, but this takes the cake...

Bucks County, Pennsylvania

WHEREAS, ON OR ABOUT MARCH 5-6, 2015 a WINTER STORM has caused or threatens to cause injury, damage, and suffering to the persons and property of Bensalem Township, Bucks County Pennsylvania.

WHEREAS, the STORM has endangered the health, safety, and welfare of a substantial number of persons residing in the township and threatens to create problems greater in scope than Bensalem Township may be able to resolve; and

WHEREAS, emergency management measures are required to reduce the severity of this disaster and to protect the health, safety and welfare of affected residents in Bensalem Township.

NOW, THEREFORE, I the undersigned Mayor of Bensalem Township, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7501 of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Services Code, 35 PA., C.S.A., Section 7101 et seq., do hereby declare the existence of a disaster emergency in Bensalem Township.

FURTHER, we direct the Bensalem Emergency Management Coordinator to coordinate the activities of the emergency response, to take all appropriate action needed to alleviate the effects of this disaster, to aid in the restoration of essential public services, and to take any other emergency response action deemed necessary to respond to this disaster emergency.

This Declaration shall take effect immediately.

IS NOT STRONG! I JUST RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE TODAY AT MY DOOR, AND HAD TO SHARE. THE INDIVIDUALS WHO SENT THIS ARE SICK OF CRIMINAL ACTS TAKING PLACE, AND NOTHING BEING DONE ABOUT CETAIN INDIVIDUALS GOING OUT OF CONTROL AND GETTING AWAY WITH WHAT THEY’RE DOING, AND WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT. WHAT IS WRITTEN IN HERE IS SERIOUS AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS TOWN HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW. WHAT YOU’RE ABOUT TO READ WILL MAKE YOU FURIOUS AND IT YOU DON’T ACT ON IT DEMS SHAME ON YOU!

After a long a cold period of time, we thought we would all get together and discuss the current emergency services of Bensalem.
Let’s start with the fire department. The paid fire department has returned to the 1950’s with what we call street responding. Members would arrive in personal vehicles (in our case township cars) and begin operating on the fire ground without checking in first. This is in clear violation of NFPA 1500 which requires accountability of all personnel on the scene fire or other type of emergency.
That would be bad enough, however the “protected volunteer fire company” which also has a large number of paid Bensalem firefighters also has adopted the street response program. They respond in and out of their district in their personal cars coming from as far away as Philadelphia and farther! Yet, when the Director of Public Safety and the Deputy Director of Public Safety were made aware of it, the response was “they are trained, they know what they are doing”. If they were trained and knew what they were doing, they wouldn’t be doing it!
The often praised township fire and emergency training center is a complete disaster with very limited or no additional use to the fire service. A large portion of the training that can be done there, we could do in our own stations already! This building was constructed because once again, the protected few in the protected fire department weren’t included in the County project. The result: we paid over 5.3 million dollars for a training center that does less than half of what the County training center can do which would not have cost our township anything!
Despite the fact that the Mayor and the Public Safety Director have been told and shown the Fair Labor Standards Act which specifically prohibits anyone from volunteering with a municipality (doing the same job) that they are paid to do. The Public Safety Director repeatedly has stated that that section of the Fair Labor Standards Act does not apply to Bensalem Township!
Despite repeated claims and claims in the SAFER grant application, the paid fire department has failed to arrive on location within 5 minutes 90% of the time with the required manpower to fight fires.
The paid ambulance service continues to spend thousands and thousands of dollars training for rope rescues and other technical rescues when there is already a County team that responds to less than 5 calls a year. The paid ambulance service recently fired a deputy chief because he complained about the wasted funds which could be used to provide and additional ambulance to the community! Where is all the money for EMS going? They get over 1 million dollars a year from the taxpayers, charge fees for their services AND collect donations! All for 2 and on rare occasions 3 ambulances!
Finally, we come to the police department. Our sources there have been laying low due to some crazy things that have been happening there.
A police officer was quietly allowed to resign after it was discovered he was forcing prostitutes to have sex with him. No charges filed.
Warrants were served on homes where nothing was found, animals and people were injured and damage was done. When officers involved in these warrants found out there were nothing there, they laughed at the amount of damage they had done, told the owners of the animals to take them to the vet and left!
We have recently learned that a local news agency videotaped a high ranking police official drinking for several hours at a golf outing and at a bar in Southampton. This same official climbed into his township issued SUV and drove away!
When the local news agency contacted the Mayor’s office regarding the video evidence, he refused to talk to them. When the news agency asked if the Mayor would like to view the tape, he refused. Instead, he had a township lawyer call the news agency and say that the township issues the vehicle to the high ranking police official and he can do what he wants with it!
The only thing the casino money has done for the township is to create a large corrupt government that is greedy and cares little or nothing for the volunteers and citizens unless it benefits them. Which in this town, is usually around election time, or am I incorrect? 
LET’S SEE WHAT WE HAVE HERE. A “PROTECTED VOLUNTEER” AND PAID FIRE SERVICE, THAT VIOLATES THE LAW AS THEY SEE FIT, AND WHEN ANYONE QUESTIONS THIS, THEY EITHER GET A LIE FOR A RESPONSE, OR RETALIATED AGAINST. WE ALSO HAVE DISHONORABLE HIGH RANKING POLICE OFFICIALS/OFFICERS THAT COMMIT CRIMINAL ACTS AND NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT IT. THEY EVEN GO SO FAR AS TO VIOLATE THE CIVIL AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF INNOCENT INDIVIDUALS, BY DAMAGING PERSONAL PROPERTY, INJURE PEOPLE AND ANIMALS,( LIVING BEINGS!), AND NOT ONE PERSON IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT!! THESE DESPICABLE EXCUSES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS SHOULD BE CHARGED CRIMINALLY FOR ASSAULTING PEOPLE, BUT ALSO ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES SHOULD BE PRESSED AGAINST THEM FOR THE INJURED ANIMALS. I ALSO REALLY LOVE HOW WHOEVER THIS HIGH RANKING POLICE OFFICIAL IS, (LIKE WE DON’T ALREADY.) USES HIS TOWNSHIP ISSUED VEHICLE TO BUY BOOZE, AND HIS MAJESTY REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! THEY EVEN HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY THAT THIS PERSON CAN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS IN THIS TOWNSHIP ISSUED VEHICLE!! SO I GUESS IT'S OK TO COMMITT A CRIMINAL ACT IN THIS VEHICLE, CORRECT?
IN THE MEANTIME, OUR ‘WONDERFUL’ COUNCILMAN BRYAN ALLEN SITS BY AND DOES NOTHING!! CLAIMING THAT YOU SEE THINGS LIKE THIS IN MY BLOG, MR. ALLEN IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE, AND NO LONGER WORKS WITH THE PEOPLE OF THIS TOWN. TRY DEMANDING TO KNOW WHY THESE POLICE OFFICERS ARE COMMITTING CRIMINAL ACTS AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT?? OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND DEMAND TO KNOW WHY THESE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS SERVED WARRANTS UNDER QUESTIONABLE CIRCUMSTANCES ON INNOCENT PEOPLE AND WHY NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO COMPENSATE THEM FOR THEIR LOSSES.
