Through many meetings and discussions with all impacted stakeholders, the Pennsylvania Sheriffs' Association, the County Commissioners Association of PA and the State House Government Committee have agreed upon an amended version that addresses the following:

* The primary responsibility of the Office of Sheriff is to protect the county courthouse, transport and extradite prisoners as well as the execution of process, writs and orders. As amended, House Bill 466 would provide statutory authority for Act 2 trained sheriffs and deputy sheriffs to have and exercise the same powers as municipal police officers when fulfilling their respective county court related obligations.

According to court records with the York County Court of Common Pleas,
Slumlord Scott Wagner was sued for renting apartments with termites, leaks,
and broken windows.
Bailbondsman Scott Wagner bailed out a child sex predator (Jeffrey Markey) who
would go on to sexually abuse another child in North Carolina.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Toxic
Scott Wagner’s company was cited 20 times for breaking environmental laws,
including putting our water at risk.
Greedy Scott Wagner sued an 84-year old woman simply because she did not
want to use his trash services.
Perhaps worst of all, Deadbeat Dad Scott Wagner was hauled into court and
forced to pay $800,000 in back alimony and child support.
Scott Wagner is not only a flawed character, he is a fraud conservative, and Paul just
released a new advertisement exposing Wagner. Specifically, Wagner is co-sponsoring
the liberal “bathroom bill” that would allow individuals to choose a bathroom based on
personal choice rather than biological makeup.
