We begin this year with a $6.5 million dollar deficit, that was "solved" by "downsizing" over half a dozen employees, including the township's fire marshal (We still do not have one!), and domestic violence service coordinator. Instead of answering the people's questions concerning this, our Mayor and council members, hide behind closed doors, and conveniently cancel council meetings.

I also learned that good ole Freddie boy is really a fan of this site, so I just had to put something special on here just for him. August:

This was an interesting month, in that we experienced a MAJOR hurricane, as well as a Tropical Storm. What was very apparent was the township's lack of preparedness, and their panicking attitudes on live TV. WE also see an incompetent Deputy Public Safety Director in action, when he "suggests" that Union Fire Co. shut down during the worst of the storm. Then Haman has the nerve to call the FBI on Union Fire Co., over their boat grant, but it backfires.

September:

For several weeks, we Dems start asking questions, and the council as well as the mayor, keep "cancelling" their meetings. I guess they're afraid to admit the truth: the town is going broke!! During this time, we also learn, that the total cost for this winter and for Irene and Lee: $769,000!!

October:

The new state of the art fire training center opens in Croydon, and all of Haman's lies about the one in Bensalem are now a reality. In an attempt to cover this up, he tells all of the volunteer fire companies in the township not to go to the dedication. At this point, We finally learn that ALL the allegations made against the Union Fire Company and its former Chief are false! This was admitted to by the Director of Public Safety! The Director of Public Safety told members of the community that he was willing to write a letter clearing the Union Fire Company and its former Chief if it didn't make the township look bad. There has been no letter as of yet. I guess there is no way of clearing the fire company and its former chief without the township looking bad!

All I can say, is that people had better take notice of the areas where we kicked some MAJOR booty in, because there are pissed off people there who are on to the ways of this mayor and its council Now, we have another budget deficit, and this time they WON'T say how much it is!! If you want to know just how much, I have copies of the township's budget proposal, and it's NOT pretty. Like I said before, I feel sorry for this town and anyone who owns a home here, but it's going to get REALLY bad now, and I have a bad feeling that in 5 years, this town is going to be like Harrisburg........ BANKRUPT!!

Haman and Nabal, in an attempt to make themselves look good this year, take over an honorable cop's fundraising for needy families in the area, and drag a poor woman and her family on Fox 29 News, to "promote" their "good deeds". In reality, it's a publicity stunt, to make themselves look good, after all the harm they have done to this town.

Nicholas: The Christmas Angel

An Original Composition, as My Christmas Present to ALL of You. Its about an unlikely little angel, who found himself being used by God in a BIG way. ENJOY!!

The Christmas Angel

On the night Jesus was to be born, all of Heaven was busy with the preparations, but God had one final task that needed to be done. This was an important task, and He needed someone that could not only be faithful, but also humble. He called an angel over to him, that was only a child by our standards, and his name was Nicholas. He was having doubts about his place as one of God's angels, and felt that the others treated him differently because he was so small. Upon hearing that God wanted to speak with him, Nicholas was concerned over what this was about. He had not been around long, and he wanted to make sure that he wasn't late. When he arrived before the Lord, he immediately felt at ease, and the Lord let him know that He had an important task for him that night. "Nicholas", God gently said, "I have a very special job for you tonight." The Lord smiled, and said, "As you know, tonight My Son is being born, and there is one thing that needs to be taken care of tonight. There are some shepherds in the fields just outside the city of Bethlehem, and I have chosen them to hear the news. Tonight, I have chosen you Nicholas, to make this important announcement. Nicholas' eyes widened with awe and surprise. He was honored to be the messenger of the Savior's birth, but he was also very nervous. Nicholas asked, "Lord, I'm rather new at this. I don't feel like I'm worthy of doing this because I'm so small. This is a very big undertaking, and I don't know if I can do this. What if I make a mistake? What do I say?" The Lord gently calmed the little angel down and assured him that he would do just fine. He further said, that all he had to do was simply trust Him, and He would give the little angel the words to say. Nicholas then humbly said, "Very well, Lord, I'll trust you." With a tearful thank you, little Nicholas went about to do the important task the heavenly Father had for him.
He then went down to earth, to make his announcement, and as he did, he asked the Lord to give him the courage to say the words that He wanted him to say, and as he opened his mouth, he said the following: "Fear not for I bring you tidings of great joy which shall be to all people, For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And it shall be a sign unto you that ye shall find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, laying in a manger." With tears in his eyes, he watched with joy, as the heavenly choir sang, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, good will toward men."
After he had appeared to the shepherds, little Nicholas came back to Heaven without making a scene, but God had other plans. The Lord and all the angels of heaven gathered around to congratulate the little angel who had so eloquently and passionately announced the birth of the Son of God!! The Lord Himself thanked Nicholas, stating that what he had done tonight was important, and that it would be remembered throughout history. Little Nicholas thanked the Lord, standing there with tears in his eyes again, because he then realized that even though he was small, his service to the Lord truly mattered.
Throughout the years, the story of the Christmas Angel became widespread thanks to the shepherds. But like all aspects of this night, the story was changed to suit what other people thought Christmas should be. In their attempt to make it the way they wanted it, they focused more on the angel than the Savior, because they wanted to leave God out of the picture. They turned the angel into Santa Claus, so they could celebrate this special day, and not have to acknowledge Jesus at all. Despite all attempts to do so, the facts are still clear; it’s Jesus that makes Christmas special. However, there was an angel who made sure the world knew!! To this day this angel continues to proclaim the birth of Christ, and remind us, that Jesus IS the reason for the season!!  WILL YOU?

December's Hero of the Month: Lieutenant Karl Mascia

I know that this has not been done in quite a while, but I am now doing a special Christmas Edition of Hero of the Month. This person was brought to me via my source this morning, and I had to post.

We would like to take notice of, and thank Lieutenant Karl Mascia of the Bensalem Police Department for his tireless work on behalf of those less fortunate members of our community. Lieutenant Mascia has selflessly donated his time and energy for more then two decades, filling baskets during Thanksgiving with food for families in distress. He has also donated his time during the Christmas season gathering toys and gifts and filling baskets with food for the holiday. Lieutenant Mascia is just one of many citizens of our township that donate their time to these worthy causes. But, he is one of the members of the Bensalem Police Department that does so without expecting thanks or public notice. He rarely receives recognition when others do less and are publicly rewarded.

Gang, this man is the PERFECT example of what I spoke of before when it comes to giving. He doesn't do it for any notoriety, nor to make himself look good. When I heard how he is the REAL influence behind things like, The Holiday Heart of a Community, does this so unselfishly, and out of a GENUINE desire to help others, I just had to share this with all of you. Lieutenant Mascia, I hope I'm not making you turn red with embarrassment with this, but you are a TRULY honorable Police Officer and man. I pray that God blesses you richly, for what you do.

I just got this from my "Unknown Source" today. Apparently, there are some more firefighters who have had it with Fred Harran's deception, and are calling him on the carpet for it.

We as members of the Bensalem Township fire service attended the Bucks County Firemen's and Fire Chief's Association meeting at the Trevose Fire Company main station last evening. We learned some very interesting things at the meeting.

The concerns that were raised regarding the location, capabilities and construction of the Bensalem Township training center are ALL coming true. Our training center is between three major roadways and within the 600 yard minimum distance requirement from a roadway. This means we cannot retrofit the building to allow live fire training programs. We further learned that the type of block used to construct the facility does not permit the use of propane generated live fire in the facility. In other words, the facility is a $5,000,000.00 ladder and hose stretching building. All of these we have done in the past in our local districts.

The new Lower Bucks County Training Center has the capabilities of class A live fire (the fire we most often face in structure fires), class B fires and has the capabilities for sprinkler system training. ALL at no cost to the township! Yet, the Chief of the Nottingham Fire Company and the Director of Public Safety HAD TO HAVE our own. Initially, our facility was for the township fire companies only. This brainstorm idea came for the Director of Public Safety and the Nottingham Chief. Then they found out that training evolutions at our training center require certified fire service instructors. The County would not provide instructors or the insurance to cover the instructors unless other emergency service organizations located outside of Bensalem could use the facility. Of course, the permission for outside fire companies to use the training center only came about after we learned that the Nottingham Fire Company was bringing outside fire companies into the facility without the knowledge of the township.

We also learned that Bristol Township reviewed the Garcia Act and confirmed that Bristol Township firefighters CANNOT be paid firefighters in Bristol Township. Since that confirmation one of their paid employees was told that they either had to quit active firefighting with the volunteer fire company or give up their paid position. When our township first began the hiring procedures for our SAFER firefighters we told the Chief's and the Director of Public Safety this very fact. We referred them to the Garcia Act. They ignored us and told us it did not apply to us.

Oh…our treasurers and presidents confirmed that the Township is taking MORE money from us this year then they stated. I guess they are unable to keep their word again. And they want us to trust them without them giving us any information!

We still don't know where the money came from to purchase SS-222. They bought that instead of addressing the growing problems with E-222.

A lack of information, lack of leadership and a continued shifting of their irresponsible handling of township finances to the volunteer fire service. That seems fair.

Not sure if anyone else sees this, but it looks like Haman's World is Crumbling in Around him!! I am going to repeat this like a broken record......

A Little "Shout Out" to An Honorable Fire House!!

Before anyone has a heart attack, Just wanted to give my appreciation to Eddington Fire House, for coming out to Regency Apartments, this AM, even though it was only over "burnt fish". To me, the volunteers or "volleys", as I have learned to know them as, are the REAL heroes. it doesn't matter if it were 222, or any other volunteer company, just as long as someone showed. The nice thing, is that the fire wasn't serious, everyone did their jobs, and no one got hurt.

HAMAN'S LIES ARE CATCHING UP TO HIM

This just came in to me, and it looks like even more firefighters, are standing up against the corruption in this town.

We as Bensalem Township firefighters have discovered the following:

1. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township, membership has dropped.

2. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township, funding has been cut.

3. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township a fire station was shut down for what he now admits were not safety violations but talking points. He held a press conference to shut down the fire company. He has yet to call a press conference to admit he made a mistake. THERE WAS NO NEED TO SHUT DOWN THEIR STATION.

4. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township the Fire Marshal was "laid off". Now Newtown Township pays for (hey this is a money saver if we can continue to get away with it) their fire marshal to come to Bensalem and investigate fires. That includes two this week.

5. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township he has stated that the layoff of the township Fire Marshal was due to the township moving in a new direction. He has yet to provide that direction to the fire service.

6. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township he build a $5,000,000.00 limited capability training enter when he knew the County was building a FULL SERVICE facility which would cost Bensalem NOTHING to use.

7. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township he has increased his salary every year, got a brand new SUV for his and his families personal use and CUT FUNDING TO THE VOLUNTEER FIRE SERVICE.

8. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township his has provided yet another large SUV to a councilmen's son who lives outside of Bensalem Township because "he wanted it".

9. Since Director Harran has become involved with the volunteer fire service in Bensalem Township he has reported a grant obtained by one of the fire departments to PEMA, FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. The grant award continues to be approved. In fact, there were no charges filed and the FBI case is closed. We don't believe his SAFER grant could pass the same tests. In the 2011 budget, he listed this very grant as income for the township.

10. At a recent daytime fire, an out of town fire company arrived with six members on their apparatus. These members were all formerly active with a township fire company and had been available to the township during the day. When we asked them why they were with the other fire company they responded that they were tired of the constant false accusations, threats and intimidating tactics from the Director of Public Safety and members of the Fire Marshal's office. When manpower is critical during the day, can we really afford to drive away highly qualified firefighters?

11. And this is just the information that we have been able to pull out of the township. Imagine what we could find if they actually provided information to the township volunteers?

A Chance to Make a Difference

As you may or may not know, there was a pretty serious fire at Salem Harbour Apartments in Bensalem today. From what I know, this injured a firefighter and displaced between 12 and 20 residents. That means quite a few people without a place to say over the Holidays, and people in need. This came from a VERY concerned volunteer firefighter, who not only makes a very valid point, but also exposes Haman's plan to wipe out the ENTIRE volunteer fire department:

Ask yourself this.....
the township is in a budget crunch, instead of getting a $300.00 tax rebate next year, we are getting only $100.00, volunteer tax monies is going to be several thousand dollars short so the paid can get paid. YET on Thanksgiving, even though the volunteer companies were covered for fire calls ( one station had 15 people), the paid were working, sitting on their butts and collecting time and a half pay. The paid are now on 10 hour days ( 7am to 5pm)and if a call comes in at 4:45 they go and almost everyday are getting paid overtime because there is no cut-off time for their response to fires. They also now get paid more overtime because of the late calls, because they have to restore their truck etc. Their cut-off time for responding to fires should be 4:30. They are making the volunteers look bad and the paid look needed, which they are not. How do you think the volunteers felt on Thanksgiving, giving up their family and dinner to volunteer for fire calls when the paid were getting paid time and a half and kept getting to the calls and returning the volunteers. The loyal volunteers kept coming out for calls, some of the volunteers gave up, they felt what is the point. Where is the justice in all this???? There is none. Not only is the paid taking money from the volunteers they are returning the volunteers to their stations, the paid stay on the fire call and most times than not, are running past 5pm and are now getting paid overtime.

YES, this IS happening!! We have allowed someone with NO FIRE SAFETY experience to start a paid fire department with a FRAUDULENTLY filled out grant (I have evidence!!), and any fire company that gets in his way, he throws a massive fit, and shuts them down, thus causing an even greater public safety hazard!!

I DARE YOU TO JUSTIFY THIS HAMAN!!

Let me me make something VERY clear before I go any further. I am not in ANY way against helping the needy, but I strongly support it. My issue with this, is that this is being made into a HUGE publicity stunt, to make the Bensalem Police look good, when they are not. What they re doing, is putting on a major production, of how they supposedly care for and help the needy, when its the total opposite. This event, is another example of how they are trying to make themselves look good, after having committed some rather heinous things this past year.
If you truly want to make a difference, go to Prison Ministries, and visit their special outreach for children of prisoners, called Angel Tree at http://www.angeltree.org/..angeltreehome. Get together with your friends, your church, or even just yourself, and make a child of an inmate's life better, so that both inmate parent, and their child know that someone TRULY cares about them.

Let me be absolutely clear on this! I BELIEVE WESLEY COOK, A.K.A. MUMIA ABU -JAMAL IS NOTHING MORE THAN POND SCUM, AND HE NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT TO DEATH IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS CONVICTION, AND MAUREEN GETS TO PULL THE TRIGGER/LEVER , AND/OR PRESS THE BUTTON!!! He has gotten away with his false accusations of being framed by a racist justice system, when the FACTS point out he murdered Officer Daniel Faulkner.
That being said, I am also appalled, art how Mumia and every other IDIOT including "Slim Fitzi" (YES YOU FITZPATRICK!!), has been using this tragedy to promote their own selfish cause, while the justice system is NOT perfect by any means, and there are LOTS of law enforcement agencies (Bensalem Police included.) that are criminally corrupt and racist, Mumia was found genuinely guilty for a crime he actually committed. Officer Faulkner was one of the few honorable police officers who willingly gave his life to make Philly safer for us, and we cannot let glory hounds like Fitzpatrick, attach themselves to an honorable warrior, to get attention for themselves.

you know, I have been told by a great many residents, and have spotted it myself, that some of your officers, are seen in parking lots of various places, SLEEPING!! I have also seen, and others have also seen, police cars at questionable places (Hooters, and Scruples at the Oakford Inn), and places where there is food, instead of DOING THEIR JOBS AND PATROLLING THE TOWN!!
I just received some very interesting information from a VERY concerned resident, and it looks like your officers are more interested in acting like gossiping hens at WAWA, than in preventing a rape from occurring!!! Yes a Rape!! I learned that there was an attempted rap that occurred this past week at an apartment complex, and NONE of your officers showed when called!! Think I am making this up??? I HAVE PICTURES!!!

OK, now let's get to brass tax, here. After all the BASELESS, USELESS, and FALSE PERSONAL attacks you all made towards me, where are all of you now that it's been proven I was right all along?? For over a year, I stated that there WAS a budget deficit, and that this year's was going to be a real whopper. Well, here it is, and it's even more severe than I thought. Last night, Joey d and council tried to soft sell a budget deficit, that to this point, still REFUSE to tell how much it is. They also did not properly advertise (At least not to me.) this council meeting, because they had hardly anyone there, and what little was there would say anything. Why, you ask??? Because they're hiding the following:

1. The exact amount of this year's budget deficit. Last year they announced it was $6.5 million (at least), but now they won't say how much it is. That says that they're hiding something from us, and that is the fact that the budget deficit is over $11 million!!!

2. Joey D and crew claim that they "eliminated" 15 full time and 10 seasonal positions within the township. We have confirmed that none of the 15 full time and 10 seasonal employees positions have resulted in a reduction of the township workforce. These were position on paper only and were not held by anyone!. No real cost reduction...no real solution to the continuing township budget deficit! We have been told to take "a very good look" at the 2012 budget to see the truth. It is far worse than anyone knows. Gee, isn't that interesting? According to what came out last night, revenue has been down $3 million since 2007, and that is a serious matter considering this is the first that has been told! It is also obvious that the Bensalem Country Club is going downhill, and FAST!! Apparently, they still don't know who the owner is!!

3. Harran also states that of the 103 police officers, and 175 civilian employees within the department, 3 officers, and 5 civilian employees were "let go". We learned that the 3 police officers were NEVER hired to begin with, and of the 5 civilian, one of those was from last year, and I have it on very good authority, that when Rosalie Flemke was "let go" she was replaced with two inexperienced, young women to handle what Ms. Flemke was doing! He stated that he has not filled any of those positions, but he isn't telling the truth. He also claims that crime has gone down, but the study he came out with not too long ago, says otherwise. It also came out, that the grant he was going for to obtain a new engine fell through, so they have to settle for repairing the old one. How about taking care of what you have?? I also noticed that you didn't get the big $1 million grant for the new police radios. What line item is King Henry VIII going to draw from for this??

4. Lastly, Joey D announced, that the homeowners rebates were being reduced to a mere $100 per household, bringing this to $1.5 million, so $3 million is left over. In addition, he announced taking out $5.3 million from the trust fund, which results in over $8 million being the deficit. He also says that he is going to procure grants to the tune of over $8 million dollars. That's what he says! In reality, after going over the budget, it's really over $11 million, and what if the grants don't come through??

5. Joey D and company STILL have not been able to explain why it was sooo necessary to have their very own fire training center, which does NOT meet ANY of the firefighters needs, as well as a paid fire department founded with a fraudulently filled out grant.

6. Shouldn't the people of Bensalem be concerned that the sale fund started with $72,000,000.00 and over the years gained funds through interest is down to $54,000,000.00? The 2012 budget states that they expect it to be below $51,000,000.00 by the end of 2012. Not only that, but look at how people's water and sewage have gone up, as a result of AQUA PA now running things.

We have been told to take "a very good look" at the 2012 budget to see the truth. It is far worse than anyone knows. Our source would not provide any further information out of fear for their job.

It's time to come out of hiding, and start speaking out!! Its time to hold these people accountable for their lies and their abuse of their positions. Positions they were given by God, and that God can easily take away.
