GUNS NEED TO BE IN REPUTABLE HANDS

THIS LETTER TO THE EDITOR WRITER REALLY HITS THE NAIL ONTHE HEAD WHEN SHE WROTE ON HOW BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE SHE BELIEVES THAT THE BUCKS COUNTY COURT HOUSE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE THAT GENUINE GOOD GUYS HAVE WEAPONS, AND NOT CRIMINAL COPS. CHECK OUT THIS QUOTE BELOW AND SEE FOR YOURSELF:

During that time, I have encountered many police officers who were defendants in protection-from-abuse cases or were opposing parties in bitter child custody or support battles. As someone who has endured the murder of a number of clients, and has been the recipient of a number of credible death threats, I can assure Mr. Mullane that the “security” issue Judge Finley has cited is not a “vague” concept."READING THIS LETTER REALLY GOT ME WONDERING JUST HOW MANY BTPD COPS WERE DEFENDANTS DURING HER TIME IN THIS CAPACITY. PROBABLY NEXT TO ZERO, BECAUSE SHERRFF LOBO WOULD COERCE/"CONVINCE" THE VICTIM TO DROP THE CHARGES. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I THOROUGHLY SUPORT THE 2ND AMENDMENT AND BELIEVE THAT WE NEED TO ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS TO KEEP CRIMINALS FROM GETTING ACCESS TO GUNS. HOWEVER I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THIS NEED TO INCLUDE HOLDING ALL CRIMINAL COPS ACCOUNTABLE.  AFTER ALL WE DON'T WANT ANOTHER SCOTT PETERSON.
