THIS IS FROM A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS A PASTOR, AND WHEN I SAW THESE WORDS, I THOUGHT OF THIS TOWN AND THOSE WHO RUN IT. IT PERFECTLY DESCRIBES CERTAIN TOWNSHIP OFFICIALS, AND THEIR TRUE MOTIVATIONS IN THEIR 'GOOD DEEDS'. READ IT FOR YOURSELF AND SEE WHAT I MEAN
If we do good to others for their sake, then we're doing good. If we do good simply because it makes us feel better, then we're just being selfish and stroking our own ego. Do good because it is right, not simply because if makes you feel better about yourself. Love/benevolence is focused on others, not self.
IF THERE WAS EVER A TRUER STATEMENT ABOUT HIS MAJESTY, REPUBLICAN MEMBERS OF COUNCIL, AND SHERRIFF LOBO, THIS IS IT. IT'S ALSO A WORD OF WARNING TO ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY CAN HIDE THEIR SINS WITH 'GOOD DEEDS' AND THINK NO ONE WILL NOTICE. GUESS WHAT????
