If Mayor and Council had a balanced budget BEFORE the $11,000,000.00 plus was given to the township the casino. Why the SUDDEN need for the EIT?
Why does the Mayor threaten public safety, saying he would have to lay off police officers, when there are millions of dollars in non-essential employees (example: Public Relations and Amphitheater, Deputy Public Works Director, etc.) that could be eliminated?

The Mayor and the Council continue to fail the citizens of Bensalem with their scare tactics to get a tax increase, which is really designed to protect politically hired non-essential employees.
