TIME TO TAKE A STAND!!!
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF YESHUA BENSALEMITES!! You are not going to believe what I found on my doorstep when I got home today!! Imagine my shock and surprise, to receive this little goodie in my door from some VERY ticked off concerned citizens of Bensalem regarding the latest that is going on with our ‘wonderful’ mayor AKA His Majesty, and our miserable excuse for a Public Safety Director, Fred, ‘Sherriff Lobo’ Harran, and you don’t want to miss this!! Check out the details below as see for yourself just what is going on in our town that is not only wasting YOUR tax $$$, but despicable and worse!!
We had a very interesting lunch meeting for our group of emergency services members. In fact, we can say it was very enlightening.
First, we discussed the fact the Mayor DiGirolamo is running for Mayor again. Despite the fact that he told the fire companies he would not run again 8 years ago, he’s running AGAIN! The Mayor said the wage tax had to be adopted, or it would require the laying off of police officers. Yet the paid fire department has been reduced in strength and there is a hiring freeze for the paid department. We guess they couldn’t find another Nottingham Fire Company firefighter who wanted the job. So, we decided to list the Mayor’s public safety achievements. Check them out and enjoy!!
We pay three times the cost for two advanced life support ambulances that Bristol Township pays for THREE advanced life support ambulances!
The rescue squad has a very high turnover rate for mid-level supervisors. Information coming out of the rescue squad, is that it is due to a dictator like atmosphere within the organization.
The rescue squad spent a very large sum of money to create technical rescue team that was not needed and is not recognized as a functional unit by our county. Our county already has a team that costs our township nothing to use. In addition, the County team only responds 2-3 times a year. This additional waste of funds explains the high cost of our ambulance service.
Despite the Mayor and Public Safety Director’s claims that the Casino would not increase crime in our township, the police department has grown by 35%! Yet, the clearance rate for crimes reported has not changed. In fact, the calls for police service have not changed in 30 years, yet the increase in police personnel!
The police department has just become Nationally Accredited. This cost our township hundreds of thousands dollars due to the current leadership and our Mayor allowing the police department to lose National Accreditation in the early 2000’s. This means we had to re-invest money because our police leadership and our Mayor FAILED to maintain national standards. Why would they allow that to happen? What standards did they allow to fall below the national standard? Was the public notified by our Mayor that the police department no longer met the standard?
The Mayor built a 5.3 million dollar fire school that was not needed and does not meet the national standards for a fire training center. In fact, the fire departments cannot train with real fire because the building was improperly built and was built too close to several roadways. In addition, the County told them a properly constructed training facility will the ability to train our personnel with live fire was being built at no cost to our Township. The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety built it anyway. We are recognized throughout the fire service in the state as owning the “Great White Elephant” at the end of the turnpike. (Good One Your Majesty!)
Despite what they wrote in the SAFER grant, the paid fire service IS separate from the volunteer fire service. This resulted in the purchase of additional fire apparatus for more than $700,000.00’ instead of using the fire apparatus we already have! The separation of the paid and volunteer fire departments has resulted in violations of the fair labor standards act (you cannot be paid and volunteer as a firefighter in the same municipality, even in the Mayor’s Kingdom), and reduced the funding to the volunteer fire companies. When the funding taken from the volunteers was returned, it was done right before election time!

Paid firefighter assaulting volunteer firefighters and damaging property. Covered by the Director of Public Safety and paid Fire Chief.
Paid firefighter sending pictures of his genitals to female members of the emergency services.
Police officer allowed to resign instead of being arrested after it was discovered he was coercing prostitutes to have sex with him instead of arresting them
Police supervisor allowed to retire instead of being arrested after he interfered repeatedly with the arrest of a drug suspect
Closed a fire company for mysterious reasons and never explained to the public why. The fire department reopened only to close it again when the Director of Public Safety targeted members of the fire company he did not like. Again, the fire company was reopened without any explanation.
Member of a protected volunteer fire company caught stealing approximately $1,600.00 from an Easter flower sale. This person was needed to control the fire association so no investigation by the police.
A chief of a fire company allowed to plea to official oppression despite the evidence brought forth by his fire company and others that thee fire chief was hosting underage drinking parties and there are possible additional victims! Unlike the unprotected fire companies who would have been thoroughly investigated, this chief was given a pass. Very little news coverage and no press conference with the Public Safety Director and Mayor!
Targeting of political rivals of the Mayor by the police department to “find evidence” in the trash of the former head of the Democratic Party in Bensalem.
Supervisor of the Special Investigation Unit told that his investigation into bars with illegal gambling equipment was upsetting the Mayor. The same supervisor was told that from that point forward any investigations involving suspects who may be friends of the Mayor should be run through the command staff before proceeding. Needless to say, investigations in that area came to a screeching halt.
The refusal of the Director of Public Safety to arrest a republican committee person for stealing democratic campaign signs. Then arresting a Democrat for putting a sticker on a republican sign! This was so important that the Mayor and the Public Safety Director attended the hearing for the non-traffic ticket in district court to make sure the sticker guy was found guilty!
The Mayor has once again received yet another brand-new SUV. He gets one every two or three years. He must do a lot of driving around our town to require frequent replacements! We don’t replace ambulances, police vehicles or fire apparatus every two or three years!
We are in the top 100 places to live in the country per our leadership. Then again, so is Bristol Township!
ANY of this sound familiar?? If not, it should!! I especially love the ones involving the very police department that is supposed to ‘protect with honor, and serve with integrity’, the citizens of this town. While I’m at it, let me add a few of my own. How about using the members of the Bensalem Rescue Squad, to take DUI Blood Draws, when they were NEVER authorized to do so in the first place!
What about our Public Safety Director’s despicable conduct in regards to his township issued SUV??
Last but not least, how about sending 2 police detectives to the door of yours truly to FALSELY accuse me of harassing their adult child!
There’s a great deal more, but it would take all night.
It’s time for the godly citizens of this town to stand up and make your voices heard on these sins. People, we are living in the days of Noah, and in times where evil is being called good, and vice versa, and it needs to stop NOW! We need a generation of men and women who will NOT be ashamed of Jesus Christ, and to follow Him in EVERY way, including standing against the evils of the officials running this town.
I am hereby challenging Bryan Allen to have an investigation into EVERY one of these things mentioned above, and to do so now. I am further challenging ALL the godly republicans and conservatives within this town, to unearth your heads from the sand, and stand for what is right. Otherwise, the town will be bankrupt, and those responsible will get away with it!! My question for all of you is...............

Bensalem Township Public Work Crews have been working diligently since 3:00 A.M. to keep ahead of the storm. Additionally, we have sub-contractors ready to assist the township if necessary. This particular storm (even with all the weather forecasts, has been unpredictable), but we needed to be prepared.
Township roads were brined earlier and are being plowed on a continuous basis in rotation mode. In anticipation of the storm, Bensalem Township put forth a “Declaration of Disaster”, which we are required to create under FEMA regulations (Federal Emergency Management Administration). Attached to this was the “Snow Advisory” which simply instructs residents to move their vehicles off the streets, etc. for more efficient plowing services.

INTERESTING QUESTION
FOUND THIS POST ON CRAIGSLIST, AND HAD TO SHARE. RAISES SOME VERY VALID QUESTIONS AS TO WHAT IS BEING DONE IN THIS TOWN, ESPECIALLY WITH OUR MONEY, AND MORE SO.
WHere are the cops, warminster, southampton, feasterville, bensalem
5 am every workday morning..................Start speed traps along street road! Make the townships some money, Cars going 60 to 80 miles per hour driving like maniacs!! Go after that jeep wrangler who tailgates, cut in and out, going 70 miles per hour.. Street road needs to be looked at for aggressive drivers... phila.really? a soda tax to make money? Start enforcing the laws of drivers.... I am a big fan of police, but the political fakes that run our townships dont have a clue...god bless the men of law enforcement !! GO AFTER THEM EARLY AM SPEEDERS ON STREET ROAD IN THE MORNING.......Good job philly with a soda tax, loss of jobs, chase people right out of the city, damn fools!

Check out Page 9 of Bensalem Pravda AKA "What's Goin on Around Town" Newsletter, and see how they're blatantly boasting on how our illustrious BTPD is allowing paramedics to do DUI blood draws, and get away with violating not only the PA board of health regulations, but the law and the constitution!
What about all those illegal blood draws that you had those paramedics do in 2015, Lobo?? You know, the ones in which the Bensalem Rescue Squad entered into an agreement with the Bensalem Police Department to draw blood for DUI arrests. Worse yet, you and your toady Achan, (Topley) had these very same members of the rescue squad wear coats over their patches to cover their identity claiming to be lab technicians! YES THAT ONE!!
Not only did they draw blood, they added a charge for the service for the restitution portion of the arrest. In other words, they had the District Attorney's office collecting fees for an illegal service! Worse yet, they lied to the District Attorney's office saying they were authorized to draw blood for criminal investigations!

Just a heads up, to let you all know that K-Mart is closing down many of its stores, and the one here in Bensalem is one of them! My hubby and I went there today, and found that it is closing down in May. This means LOTS of people without jobs, and that's NOT good!

MORE HOUSECLEANING GOING ON!!!
All I can say on this, is HOLY COW, IT’S ABOUT TIME!! I just wonder how far this is going to go. This is EXACTLY what was going on with Nottingham so many years ago, but NOTHING was ever done about it! Maybe our new DA needs to investigate things going on here in this town, and put people in jail that need to go there!!
