Bensalem Township Public Work Crews have been working diligently since 3:00 A.M. to keep ahead of the storm. Additionally, we have sub-contractors ready to assist the township if necessary. This particular storm (even with all the weather forecasts, has been unpredictable), but we needed to be prepared.

Township roads were brined earlier and are being plowed on a continuous basis in rotation mode. In anticipation of the storm, Bensalem Township put forth a “Declaration of Disaster”, which we are required to create under FEMA regulations (Federal Emergency Management Administration). Attached to this was the “Snow Advisory” which simply instructs residents to move their vehicles off the streets, etc. for more efficient plowing services.

Plowed my 80 yr old mom in good. Left a 3 foot high by 4 ft wide wall of ice in front of her driveway

Considering the extra 1% income tax I'll be handing over this year, it would have been nice for ANY of the streets in my neighborhood to be plowed. Instead, the arterial roads were plowed, piling an extra
Amount of ice and snow at the entrance to every single residential street. Thanks, guys.

will Hanita Ct be plowed tonight, I have a handicapped person in the house, never know when ambulance has to be called, mini stroke 2 weeks ago

DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE, BUT I FIND THIS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!  AM ESPECIALLY CONCERNED FOR THE HANNA CT. COMMENT, AND PRAY THAT SOMETHING IS DONE.
