Mayor makes Bensalem citizens less safe

The mayor is covering his backside by saying all “Bensalem residents should feel safe everywhere,” and “we are not a sanctuary town.” The mayor then refuses to support the Federal ICE 287(g) program that is aimed at citizen safety.

Mayor DiGirolamo comments are pure “political doublespeak.” The mayor goes on to say his decision “shouldn’t be misconstrued or made political,” as though such a statement should be believed by the citizens.

I am sure Bensalem citizens and citizens living in surrounding townships know that they are less safe due to the mayor’s position, regardless what he says and does.

It is worth noting that the township public safety director shared his support of a partnership with ICE, saying it could help prevent crime and protect the community. It is also worth noting that opposition to support of ICE came from ACLU, NAACP, and Bensalem 287(g) Resistance Coalition.

One has to seriously question the motivation of these organizations versus the goal of safety for Bensalem citizens.

THIS WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A PUBLICITY ATTEMPT BY HIS MAJESTY THE MAYOR, AND HIS LOYAL 'SHERRIFF OF NOTTINGHAM', FRED HARRAN, TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK GOOD, AND IT'S PATHETIC!! I GUESS THE FACT THAT HIS MAJESTY WON THE MAYORAL ELECTION BY ONLY 300 VOTES WASN'T ENOUGH FOR HIM, SO HE RESORTS TO THIS. I SO LOOK FORWARD TO THIS UPCOMING TRIAL WITH KATZ TO SEE ALL THE SKELETONS COME OUT, AND WATCH YOU SQUIRM!!
