NOT GUILTY??
I know many of you have been putting your two cents in the Zimmerman
case since last night, but I wanted to wait till I had a chance to
really pray on and reflect on this situation, and ask God for guidance
concerning this. NO doubt a young man died on that fateful night, and
many lives (both Zimmerman's and Trayvon's Parents) are irreparably
damaged, but please remember that as Sabrina (Trayvon's Mom) said, God IS in control!
To those who are not thrilled on the verdict as I am to me this was NOT
about race, but as what the prosecutor said it was about: right from
wrong. Zimmerman WAS A WAN A BE COP, who instead of obeying the 911
operator and the police, he GOT OUT OF HIS CAR AND FOLLOWED TRAYVON.
(While this is technically NOT illegal, I think STALKING is!!) I further
believe that Trayvon was GENUINELY afraid for his own life, and tried
to get away from Zimmerman. It was upon their confrontation that Trayvon
tried in vain to fight for his own life, and we now have what we have.
To those who favor the verdict, don't get arrogant!! Just because six
very thoughtful women, did not have enough evidence to convict this man,
doesn't mean that he will get away with this in God's eyes. Remember
what Galatians 6:7 says, my brothers and sisters, GOD'S JUSTICE IS SURE.
There will ultimately be a lawsuit from Trayvon's family against
George, and the Homeowner's Association he was a neighborhood watch
captain for, and there is a STRONG chance he will be charged Federally
for this, so don't think for a second he's off the hook.
REMEMBER GOD WILL PREVAIL!!
