PUTTING A BAND AID ON A GAPING WOUND

THAT IS PRETTY MUCH WHAT IT IS AT THIS STAGE OF THE GAME. NO AMOUNT OF DEADLINES, RATIONING, ETC IS GOING TO STOP THIS, UNTIL SOMEONE HAS THE GUTS TO SAY ENOUGH!! I SEEM REMEMBER SOMEONE SAYING THAT FOR $12 MILLION THEY COULD BUILD A WHOLE NEW SCHOOL. WHY IS IT GOING TO TAKE $68... MILLION JUST TO RENNOVATE?? I HAPPEN TO ECHO THE SENTIMENTS OF THIS COMENTER ON THE BCCT SITE WHEN THIS WAS SAID:
"For 68 Million Dollars they could build a brand new school, not just renovate. Why are the residents not protesting the big waste of money? 68 Million, think about that number! The students education will not be any better if they have gold plated toilet seats. If the test scores in the Bensalem School district were the highest in Bucks County, maybe I could see a building improvement around 15 million. When the School taxes go up again and the residents loose their homes at least the high school will be a wonderful homeless shelter."
 
WE NOT ONLY HAVE A SPENDING PROBLEM, BUT A LEADERSHIP PROBLEM AS WELL, AND THE WRONG LEADERSHIP KEEPS GETTING ELECTED! OF COURSE THE DEMOCRATS OF THIS TOWN ARE EITHER TOO SCARED OR TOO LAZY, AND SIMPLY DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! DEMOCRATS OF BENSALEM GET UP OFF OF YOUR BUTTS AND START DOING SOMETHING!!
