From what I have been reading in the papers, there's not only problems within the White House, but LOTS of problems within the Bensalem GOP, and in more ways than one! While Obama, (Who I did NOT vote for, by the way!), is enveloped within the Benghazi, IRS, and the AP scandals, Bensalem has its own scandals, which are now coming to light, and "His Majesty" definitely doesn't like it. Right now, we have many people who have finally come to their senses, and are fed up with the evil going on within the township, that they are just now demanding answers. I am also unfortunately seeing some very blind individuals, who think that despite the eruption of the school district investigation, Haman's unsuccessful attempt to shut down Union Fire Company, the acquittal of Dave Jerri Jr. (Former Chief Dave Jerri Sr.'s son.), as well as their major league lawsuit against Haman, His Majesty, and the township, and the nearlyFOUR years of budget deficits within the township, they still think nothing is wrong. They go so far in their blindness that they continue name calling in every way imaginable. They've even had the audacity to show blatant disrespect for their fellow residents recently, at the voting booth, especially if the person being disrespected was a democrat.....
Citizens of Bensalem, it's time to face reality. We have garbage within the township's government that needs to be taken out and taken out NOW. For nearly four years, we have had outrageous deficits that are "Balanced" by delving into the township's reserve fund, without genuinely searching through the budget and getting rid of things we don't need (For example, the $6.5 million plus for the "community spirit fund" AKA the TD Bank Concerts and Pride Day) Now before you FALSELY accuse me of saying I want to get rid of them, let me make this clear: I IN NOW WAY WANT TO DO THIS! I merely wish to cut back in these areas, even going so far as to recommend that other ways be found to support these activities, NOTtaxpayer $$$. We also need to make sure that EVERY department within the township is living WITHIN ITS MEANS and if they run out, they have to come up with the finds ON THEIR OWN!! In short, the township is not your personal piggy bank, "Your Majesty" and Haman!!....
Secondly, in case you have been living under a rock, and/or sucking on the "Little Dictator" fumes, it's plain to see that everything Haman did to Union Fire Company was the result of two things holding a serious grudge, and greed. You see former Chief Vince Troisi made a fool of the township, and Haman, when he made them look bad during a federal trial in 2009. He also has a major obsession over the boat that Union LEGALLY and rightfully purchased, because he wanted the money from the boat for himself!! So much so, that he told blatant LIES about Union and the boat to get his way. Fortunately, for Union that failed despite having to sell the boat, Haman never got one red cent of it, because the grant used to purchase the boat went to its new owners. Haman also failed in shutting down Union Fire Company, when its new president told the township council the actual truth of what was going on, and for that I firmly believe that John Knowles deserves a HUGE amount of applause for standing up to Haman!! Of course, we just cannot forget the sheer torture that Haman put former Chief Dave Jerri Sr., and his son Dave Jr. through, by FALSELY arresting Dave Jr., for workmen's compensation insurance fraud, and threatening BOTH of them in more ways that I could mention on here. Praise God justice prevailed and he was found NOT GUILTY by a judge with common sense. As a result, both father and son filed serious legal action against the township, and now the township is facing one of dozens of lawsuits!!....
Finally, we have the School District theft of Time and Property Investigation, in which the school district had over a million dollars taken from it, and possibly much more!! We also had over 20 people arrested, and while Haman says there is a "part two" coming, we have yet to see it. No one has had the courage to confront the school board on their outrageous spending, as well as their incompetence in this area. I especially would LOVE to hear someone ask if it's true that Haman (Fred Harran to those who don't know who I mean.) went to the school board on behalf of a school district employee (who was a high ranking fire official for Cornwells Fire Company), to get them to allow him to keep his job. Don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to know. As a result, there is a several million dollar deficit, in which they plan on either cutting back important school programs, as well as you guessed it, another tax increase!! I echo the words of many residents who believe that the cuts that need to be done are within the school district's administration, going over every department and making EVERYONE live within their own means, just like the township. I would also start asking where the casino $$$ is that was promised and find out how every penny of our taxes are being spent. In short perform a forensic audit of BOTHthe township and the school district!!....
It's time that we as the citizens of Bensalem Township not only open up our eyes, and see this going on, but to DO something about it. It's time to hold our leaders accountable for their failure to keep this town fiscally sound, and in allowing a two bit little dictator named Fred Harran to show a blatant disregard for our rights. If we don't we are going to wind up in the same mess that Obama is in, and most of all we'll wind up like Camden, and Harrisburg… BROKE!!
