Please Explain something for me Mr. Stella:
1. Remember the budget of 2010, and how it had a $6.5 million dollar deficit? Remember how they "balanced" it, by dipping into the town's trust fund, and "Laying off" 6 people?? Why they won't answer answer ANYTHING about that, or this year's budget until AFTER the election??
2. Ask yourself why they spent $5 million dollars OF YOUR TAX MONEY, on a Fire Training Center that FAILS to meet the needs of the firefighters, in that it was IMPROPERLY built (NO rest rooms, classrooms, heat resistant tiles on the floors, etc.), and cannot burn class A Fires, when the newly built one in Croydon does, AT NO COST TO US?
3. Ask yourself, how the paid fire department was REALLY started, why it's so necessary to take money away from the volunteer firefighters to start it, and how the township is going to pay for this new full time Fire dept.?
4. Ask yourself, just what REALLY went on with Union Fire Co., and what if they did this to YOUR Fire Company?? Most of all, ask just where the council members such as Ed Kisselback, Joe Knowles, and John Matthieu, were when all this transpired.
