I SAY BOTH!! WHAT IS SHE THINKING?? DOES SHE THINK WE ARE THAT DUMB??

Congresswoman and DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Shultz is claiming that Sequestration is "bringing [congressional] staffers to the brink of starvation" -- how STUPID does she think the American people really are?

"At a House hearing earlier this week, she worried that her staff is being "priced out" of a good meal due to price increases at the House cafeteria, and worried that a potential 8-percent budget cut for congressional offices would further lower "the quality of life" on Capitol Hill."

Keep the following in mind: "Just to clarify: An 8-ounce bowl of Ham and Bean soup at the Cannon Office Building's carry-out café costs $2. A gourmet wrap or sliced bread sandwich sells for about $5. And in the Longworth Building's sit-down cafeteria, a serving of stuffed chicken, asparagus and mashed potatoes sells for about $7, Fox News finds."

That's cheaper than some food trucks... also, these staffers aren't exactly being paid minimum wage: "Meanwhile, Ms. Wasserman Schultz's staffers earn between $60,000 and $160,000 per year[.]"

WE bet a lot of our TKC readers would be overjoyed to be making that kind of $$$ and only have to pay around $7 for a decent hot lunch. And these folks claim they are starving???
