This Guest Opinion writer hits the nail on the head
with this issue, especially since the very ones in charge of our school
district, were the ones who ALLOWED this scandal to take place. How you
ask?? They turned a “bind eye” to the illegal
activities going on, by never once asking questions about the school’s budget,
especially the departments/employees costing the most $$$. Now we are out over
$900 grand, and they want to put an individual in Mosley’s place, whose job
performance/history with Brandywine is questionable at best (Was allegedly
accused of stealing company property.), but is also deeply connected to “His Majesty”, the mayor. Worse yet, the very
criminals who were arrested in this scandal, are NOT GOING TO DO ANY JAIL TIME!!
The ghost employee for example, is doing “house arrest” lounging in his yard,
mowing his lawn, when he should be in jail, made to mow the ENTIRE school
district property, and pay back EVERY penny he stole, not what he “admitted” to.
Since he is also a criminal, he should not even be a volunteer with Cornwells
fire Department let alone ANY fire company!! Oh yes, I know all about the “overcrowding”
excuses made by certain naysayers, but let me inform you that the state prisons
aren’t and that is where these people belong!! These people committed crimes,
and need to be held accountable. Allowing the same people to be in charge of
Bensalem School District’s School Board, only solidifies the definition of
insanity… doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results. In
short……….
RETIRE OR BE FIRED!!
