Target: Law Enforcement

1Timothy 8-11

But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God…

Prayer:

Lord, we have come to a place in time where the world calls that which is good evil, and evil is perceived as good. Our value system has been completely destroyed by our desensitization. We no longer value human life, Your greatest creation. Law enforcement is an agency You use to protect society from the unrighteous acts of men. Our society is fragmented. Today, we ask that You bless the men and women who stand up for the laws of this great land, who put their lives on the line every day. Protect their families and loved ones. Equip them on every level to perform their duties, and grant them Your protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I WANT TO TAKE THIS TIME TO GIVE A MAJOR "SHOUT OUT" TO TREVOSE FIRE CO. FOR THEIR SELFLESSNESS DURING THE MAJOR PORTION OF THIS STORM. AS MANY OF YOU KNOW, THE EVACUEES THAT WERE AT THE SHELTER DID NOT RECEIVE ANY FOOD UNTIL 4AM, AND IT WAS TREVOSE WHO STEPPED UPTO THE PLATE IN THIS AREA. DESPITE WHAT IS TO ME AND OTHERS (UNLESS HAMAN AND NABAL CAN PROVE TO ME OTHERWISE) WAS POOR PLANNING, THERE WERE THOSE LIKE TREVOSE WHO STEPPED UP, AND FOR THAT I SAY THANKS!!
