THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN...........

AND THEY WANT "BREADS AND CIRCUSES" A.K.A. "FOOD STAMPS AND REALITY/TRASH TV" WHAT A SHAME LAST NIGHT TURNED OUT THE WAY IT DID. OBAMA HAS EVERYONE SO SNOWED WITH HIS "HOPE AND CHANGE" NONSENSE, THAT HE SUCCESSFULLY DEFAMED A VERY HONORABLE, YET WEAK MAN. THIS RESULTED IN HIM WINNING THE ELECTORAL VOTE, BUT NOT THE POPULAR ONE.

Officially lost what little remaining faith I had in my country. Shudder to think what this place will look like in 4 years. If I had to guess, probably a lot like Greece looks now. It's ok though, God is on the throne and we're just pilgrims passing through this life. All great empires fall, but God still moves on. The historic republic took one step closer to death last night as we continue slouching toward a neo-European, socialist state. Obama, Romney....doesn't matter, God is still God and believers' job is still the same- point the way to Christ until he returns. May be sooner than folks think.
Be about God's business and follow Christ's words to "let the dead bury their own dead." Christians under the hammer of Rome felt no need to try to change the government- they were too busy winning people to the kingdom of God. Christians today are WAY too concerned about this temporal body and world we live in and not nearly concerned enough about winning people to heaven. All I can say is there were no Christian protests against Nero- Obama are bad but he's no Nero.
I'll admit I was irritated when I heard Mr. Obama won. But then stepped back and looked at it as a reminder that my first business as a Christian and pastor is not getting caught up in this life but preparing people for the one to come- eternity is a lot longer than 70-80 years on earth. It's why Apostle Paul said, "Our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us" when we see God face to face. On that day, who won the presidency in 2012 won't matter. All that will matter is, were our hearts right with God before we stood before Him.
AS MY FRIEND SAID GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE, AND WE AS BELIEVERS IN CHRIST NEED TO NOW MORE THAN EVEN STAND UP FOR HIM, AND SHARE THE GOSPEL WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME TO DO SO. WE NEED TO CONTINUE TO RAISE UP STRONG CANDIDATES, THAT WILL STAND FOR LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS FOR ALL INVOLVED, AND NOT PLAY FAVORITES. THESE CANDIDATES MUST STAND FOR THE BIBLICAL VALUES THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED AND RAISED ON, AND INTERPRET THE CONSTITUTION CORRECTLY AND HONESTLY. FELLOW BELIEVERS ITS TIME TO TAKE A STAND AND BE COUNTED AMONG THE RIGHTEOUS!!
