Prayer:

Jesus, You are the Creator of the universe, and all good and perfect gifts come from above. You have formed man in your own image, as a creative being. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing our own foolish greed and selfish ambition to precede our desire for You. Your Word clearly says to seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and we have sought everything but You. We are a people in search of a purpose, when You have given us a design destiny that we have all but avoided. May we return to seek Your perfect will and purpose for our lives. Today, we call on Your hand to direct us in every future endeavor, that whatever we put our hands to will prosper to the glory of God the Father. Reveal to us the person You would have us to be. We seek Your face, expecting that Your supernatural revelation for our lives is already on the way. You have given us a future and a hope, and we ask now that You begin to birth that hope anew in our hearts. Bless us in our businesses, that the work we do will bring honor and glory only to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.


IMAGINE THIS. A NEW PERSON APPEARS IN BENSALEM, AND SITS DOWN IN THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING. THE MAYOR, COUNCIL MEMBERS, AND EVEN HAMAN ARE THERE HAVING A MAJOR CONVERSATION, ALONG WITH HIS OTHER "FRIENDS". THE MAN SITS IN THE CORNER OF THE BUILDING WATCHING EVERYONE, AND EVERYONE MORE THAN NOTICES HIM. HE'S VERY DIRTY, CLOTHING NOT ONLY DIRTY LOOKING, BUT FULL OF HOLES, AND ITS OBVIOUS THAT HE HAS NOT BATHED IN OVER A WEEK. THE MAYOR IN IS USUAL ARROGANCE, COMMANDS HIS "PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR" TO THROW THIS "BUM" OUT, TO WHICH HAMAN GLADLY DOES. THE GENTLEMAN STATES TO THE MAYOR , THAT HE MEANS NO HARM, JUST NEEDS SOME HELP, BUT IT FALLS ON DEAF EARS. HE GOES ON TO SAY TO THE MAYOR, THAT HE NEEDS NEEDS SHOW A LITTLE MORE RESPECT AND COMPASSION TOWARDS STRANGERS, BUT AGAIN IT FALLS ON DEAF EARS, AS HAMAN AND HIS COHORTS PUT THE POOR PERSON OUT INTO THE COLD THREATENING TO ARREST HIM IF HE CONTINUES. OUTSIDE HE ENCOUNTERS A KIND COUPLE, WHO DESPITE THE SNEERS AND THE THREATS FROM HAMAN, PICKS UP THE POOR MAN, TAKES HIM TO A WAITING CAR, WHERE THEY DRIVE OFF INTO THE STREET AND THE UNKNOWN. A WEEK LATER, A WELL DRESSED MAN IN A VERY EXPENSIVE SUIT WALKS INTO THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING SITTING IN THE SAME SPOT AS THE HOMELESS MAN DID THE DAY BEFORE. THIS TIME THE MAYOR PERSONALLY APPROACHES THE MAN, AND BEGINS TO SHAKE HIS HAND. THE MAN POLITELY RESPONDS, "DO YOU REMEMBER ME?? I WAS HERE YESTERDAY LOOKING FOR SOME HELP", TO WHICH THE MAYOR SEEMS RATHER PUZZLED, AND SAYS "NO. SHOULD I?? THE MAN THEN STATES, I VERY MUCH REMEMBER YOU. THE MAYOR PANICS AT THE SOUND OF THE VOICE. OH NO!! ITS THE MAN FROM YESTERDAY. TH GENTLEMAN SEEING THAT HE IS NOW RECOGNIZED, SAYS, "YOU SEE, I WAS PLANNING ON BUILDING SEVERAL NEW OFFICES AND FACTORIES HERE, BECAUSE I HEARD THAT BENSALEM WAS SO BUSINESS FRIENDLY, BUT WHEN I CAME HERE YESTERDAY TO GET SOME INFORMATION ON PROPERTIES, YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE TOO MUCH FOR ME, AND YOU HAD YOUR "PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR" TOSS ME OUT OF HERE YESTERDAY, LIKE I WAS COMMON TRASH. IF IT WASN'T FOR THE KIND COUPLE WHO TOOK ME INTO THEIR CAR, I'D BE IN ONE OF YOUR JAILS! WE HAD A VERY INTERESTING CHAT, AND I THEN DID A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH ON THIS TOWN. I FOUND OUT THINGS I COULD NOT IMAGINE EVER TAKING PLACE HERE, SO I DECIDED TO NOT START ANY BUSINESSES HERE. I ALSO PUT IN A FEW WORDS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, AND YOUR PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR SHOULD BE HEARING FROM THEM RIGHT NOW, AND SO SHOULD YOU."
YOU SEE THIS IS WHAT IS GOING ON HERE IN BENSALEM. MANY FINE BUSINESSES, AND COMPANIES THAT WERE IN THIS TOWN, HAVE EITHER UP AND LEFT, OR WERE FORCED OUT, BECAUSE THE TOWN STRONG ARMED THEM. IF NOT STRONG ARMING THEM, THEY EITHER TRY TO GET THEM TO "DONATE" TO THE MAYOR'S CAMPAIGN OR PET PROJECTS, AND CHARGE EXORBITANT BUSINESS FEES THAT NO ONE CAN PAY. AS A RESULT, THE ONLY JOBS HERE ARE USELESS, LOW PAYING RETAIL, FAST FOOD JOBS, WHERE SO MUCH ABUSE AND DISCRIMINATION IS INFLICTED ON SOMEONE, THEY WIND UP LEAVING THE TOWN THEMSELVES.
THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, AND VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO WILL CARE AND BRING REAL JOBS TO THIS TOWN. IT STARTS WITH VOTING FOR A GODLY PERSON FOR PRESIDENT, SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT GIVE INTO THE THE CORRUPTION OF THE WORLD, BUT STANDS FOR TRUE GODLY PRINCIPLES.
