Things You Always Wanted to Know About Bensalem, but Were Never Told

Just some interesting little things about this town's public officials, that needed to be shared.

Hey everyone remember good ole Jim Ryan?? You know the one who who have that questionable land issue on Independence Ct., where he bought land to build townhouses, but all that is there is an unsafe mess?? This is also the same person, who gets to keep his personal motor home in the Public works yard along with the township equipment!! Well, I also learned, that he has TWO township vehicles, a big white pickup truck, and Black Hybrid Tahoe (You know His Majesty’s “Going Green” machine), guess someone got Henry VIII’s hand me downs. Sweet deal, huh?? Wonder why he’s so special?? If that isn’t enough, apparently both he and his wife Jackie, who is also a township employee, seem to get more vacation time than any other township employee, and yet they’re hardly ever at work. How did they rate that??

How about Dawn “Anne Boleyn” Davis. You know, Miss Community Affairs Director?? I just learned that she apparently thinks she is above the law, as she has allegedly been seen running stops signs on municipal complex property in a white Honda Civic that is owned by the township! Why is nothing said about that?? Better yet, what are her qualifications for the position she holds?? It seems awfully interesting that she gets this plum position, and is sitting the proverbial “cat bird seat, while poor Dave Fiedler was unceremoniously let go a year before he was to retire!! Another interesting item to inquire about is how the Bensalem GOP is secretly grooming Mike Gallagher, to take Judge Len Brown’s place as District Justice, once he retires. How is that possible for a mere constable?? What are his qualifications to be a Judge?? Don’t get me wrong, Gallagher is a sweet person, and a pretty decent Constable, but last I checked, being related to the mayor by marriage is NOT a qualification. I’m wondering who would be brave enough to submit a Right to Know Request on this one. Speaking of which, how can Henry VIII, claim to be such a wonderful humanitarian, when he allegedly had his farm employees drive through the township apartment complexes, picking up used mattresses from the garbage, for his migrant workers??  IF this is true, that is really unsanitary and DISGUSTING!! BTW Your Majesty, why is it that you hold the Fall Festival on a Saturday, when Bensalem has a large population of Orthodox Jewish individuals, who cannot attend then?

Now for the fun part, in light of the recent bombshell that came out on how the Bensalem Police handled three cases of sexual abuse, I learned the following, through careful research, and a few birdies, about certain individuals within the police department and paid fire department, that I think you all need to know.  I recently learned that Officer Donna Vasek abruptly retired from the force, after it came out that her spouse Tom, another corrupt school district official, is under investigation, over the theft of time scandal within the township. Could it be that she is afraid of being found out concerning the same thing as well, and does not want her police pension jeopardized? How about the DUI accident of Officer Thomas Mee?? Why was he not arrested, despite crashing his personal car, and him smelling like booze? Evidently, this actually happened, and all his fellow officers did, was stick him in a police car and drive him home. Why does this remind me of a certain drunk paid firefighter, who got away with beating a fellow volunteer firefighter? If anyone from Union Fire Co. did that they’d be arrested IMMEDIATELY!!  How about the supposed investigation of Sgt. Andrew Annisman into his alleged physical assault of his elderly neighbor? Why was he not arrested and prosecuted?? Guess it pays to be in with the  “In Crowd”, huh Sargent?? Most of all, why are the staff of 222, (Ruggerio, especially) allegedly continually allowed to drive erratically all over the township?? Can Haman explain this one for me??

Guys, we have so many serious issues going on in PA alone, especially the sexual abuse of young children by priests, and Jerry Sandusky, it isn’t funny. It’s even worse when the Catholic Church, and Penn State itself decides to cover these things up for fear of losing their prestige, power and money. It’s bad enough to see the victims suffer, while animals like this get way with their crimes, but for a law enforcement entity to allow this, is really beyond the pale of EVIL. Haman you have done some boneheaded, and nasty things in the time I have “known” you, and it’s a pretty obvious fact that you disrespect women, (YES YOU DO!!), but to fail to make sure that children are protected from animals like Meyerle, by not  punishing both Detective Cannon’s supervisor and her, is beyond me. Just the fact that you’re allowing Detective Cannon to still be a detective, really stuns me. (Then again you know how to cover for the underlings that you favor the most, don’t you??) I think it’s time for the people for this town to insist on not just new leadership, but leadership that is more honorable.
