TALK ABOUT RIDICULOUS!!!

 https://bucks.crimewatchpa.com/bensalempd/15488/post/human-services-co-responder-needed-apply-now

 I saw this on the news, but had to see it for myself. WHAT NONSENSE!!  This is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine! How are they going to respond, to a person who is acting violently, and threatening their lives offer them a cookie and milk? This is absolutely ridiculous, and but Dems should be ashamed of themselves for it! Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there is a need for transparency within the Police Department, but not every Cop is like Derek Chauvin, nor is every cop a racist. The only form of systemic racism that exists, is in the minds of those who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions, and want to play the perpetual victim. That being said, I had to ask this particular question, when it comes to this position being offered. Doesn't the Bensalem Township Police Department already have this, in a Domestic Violence Coordinator?? What happened to this individual? Oh, I know what happened. YOU DROVE THEM OUT FRED! You drove the original DV coordinator out, through your unprofessional, and discriminatory attitude against her. Then to add insult to injury, you hired supposedly a couple of young girls to take your place. What happened with them?

To anyone that decides to apply for this position. Be very, very, careful in accepting this job! This Police Department, has a very bad track record of treating individuals especially minorities, with much disrespect, and all you will be to them, is window dressing.

NAACP Bucks County and Bensalem Township Police Department Ink Historic Agreement

Ongoing Partnership Designed to Enhance Public Safety through Communication and Collaboration

September 5, 2020 - The NAACP Bucks County branch and the Bensalem Township Police Department will sign an agreement between the two organizations at a ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7pm at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building. Local leaders will be on hand to witness this historic moment. The public is invited to attend; social distancing and mask requirements will be in place.

The NAACP Bucks County and the Bensalem Township Police Department have worked together informally through the years. This new agreement formalizes the relationship in the interest of continually improving trust between police and Bensalem residents, which is essential to protecting public safety. The agreement includes:

• A commitment to regular meetings and open dialogue between the NAACP Bucks County and Bensalem Township Police Department leadership;

• Both parties will work together to ensure that Bensalem Police Officers receive regular training that enhances their ability to have effective, respectful, and peaceful interactions with all citizens, including people of color;

• A broader process for intake of any complaints of police misconduct, including the ability of residents to report such complaints to the NAACP Bucks County or to county religious leaders; and,

• Increased transparency regarding the results of police misconduct investigations, including reporting outcomes to the NAACP Bucks County.

"We have enjoyed a strong relationship with our local NAACP leaders, and we are very pleased to work even more closely in the future to ensure just and caring police protection and service to all of our residents," said Frederick Harran, Director of Public Safety, Bensalem Township Police Department.

"Both the NAACP Bucks County and Bensalem Township are committed to equal protection of the law for all citizens," said Karen Downer, PreSident, NAACP Bucks County. "We have launched a new NAACP Bucks County initiative focused on reimagining public safety, and this agreement is an important first step toward continual improvement in police community relations throughout the county."

Just saw this, and couldn't stop laughing!  Why you ask? Because all of this is a bunch of rubbish, that is being done for show. I want to preface a few things before I go into this. Number one, I am against any form of racism, bu ANYONE who thinks of themselves as superior on the basis of their skin color, and believe that any person who dos this is a racist. This goes for Blacks , Muslims, and any other skin color as well as white! That being said, I also believe that the constant and frivolous use of the phrase systemic racism is dishonoring to those who have been legitimately discriminated against on the basis of their race. While I believe that there are some racists out there, (Especially at 2400 Byberry Rd! ), Not every case of so called police brutality, is racially motivated, But the result of individuals, who regardless of their skin color, refuse to cooperate with the police. Also, I believe that this entire thing is being done for show, on the part of the Bensalem Police Department, in particular by its public safety director because from where I stand, he could give two hoots in a hen house about minorities! Doubt me? Why don't you ask him , what his response was to the late Greg young, when this poor beleaguered man brought complaints of racial discrimination to him.

DON'T VOTE BY MAIL!!!

 PLEASE PEOPLE, VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY. DO NOT VOTE BY MAIL UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.

Pat Poprick and the entire bucks county republican committee should be ashamed of themselves for going against President Trump's interests and wishes. Pat and the BCRC are openly pushing for Republicans to use mail in ballots when EVERY REPUBLICAN SHOULD BE VOTING IN PERSON AND NOT VOTING THROUGH THE MAIL. When you vote through the mail your name, address and party affiliation are on the outside of the envelope. Any disgruntled postal worker or vote counter who hates Trump can see that your Republican vote is in the envelope and discard it. It is a disgrace that our local party consistently fights to undermine our President and the Republican base in Bucks County. If Trump loses Bucks County it will be Pat Poprik's fault. Please people VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY. TRUMP 2020.
