This came to my from a very good friend, who rally hits the nail on the head, in this area. It also gets one to thinking as to just what our government is supposed to be, and how we have strayed from the founding fathers intent.

"Was watching the news, can't tell if it is ignorance or intentional deceit that newsmen and our political leaders don't seem to know what kind of government we have. They keep referring to our "Democracy" when we don't have a Democracy, we have a Democratic Republic; there is actually a big difference. You go after Union Fire Co. under FALSE PRETENSES,(Yes, I have proof YOU LIED!!), then you have your mug and voice in the media whenever possible to destroy their reputation, as well as others associated with them. Now all of a sudden, when a criminal act occurs involving one of your "boys", or when something FACTUAL like this occurs, you clam up! I'm just wondering, how did you manage to "convince" that poor volunteer that was beaten by one of Sponheimer"s men, to NOT file charges? How could you conduct a two day "investigation" into allegations of sexual harassment (You know the perv from Cornwells, who sent nude pics of himself to a female volunteer?), and not even interview the victim or the accused, let alone retrieve cell phones for evidence?? These are criminal acts, and you COVERED THEM UP!!
Now your precious paid fire department is spending so much $$$ like its going out of style, you're planning on taking more funds from the volunteer fire companies, and you have even more fire companies/ firefighters against you!! Looks like your world is crumbling around you, and its not a pretty sight.

First we have a school board member forced to resign, because she wouldn't "play the corruption game" with the rest of the corrupt GOP, then other school board members were forced to resign, simply because they wouldn't do their jobs. Now we have an exposure of falsified time cards by school district employees, (One of which is a paid fire fighter!!), but nothing more is said on any of it!!It really makes one wonder, what else is being decided in secret, doesn't it??

I am going to keep saying this, until you all get it through your thick skulls and do something about the evil occurring within this town. TO ALL Honorable First Responders in Bensalem:

GET OFF YOUR COLLECTIVE A@@@@, AND LEGALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! Don't let the sacrifices made by honorable individuals who have fought this township go in vain. It’s time that you all come out of hiding, and RAISE YOUR VOICE!! Let's start by going to every council meeting, from now on, and demand to know the following:

1.    Bring up the SAFER Grant, and ask why Harran REFUSED to give a copy of this to the firefighters. Better yet, ask why he LIED on it!!

2.    Where is the township’s emergency management plan, and why does Harran refuse to show it to the citizens of this town??

3.    How can they establish a paid fire department in violation of township municipal code #6? (There is NO #7, so please don’t use that one on us, Haman!)

4.    Why the paid fire company is in violation of what was written in their SAFER grant application. They are not a combination fire department as written in the grant application.

5.    What qualifications, including training, schooling, etc. do each member of the paid fire department and its chief have, for the positions they currently hold.

6.     Why is the paid firefighter that committed aggravated assault, vandalism and drunk driving as part of his criminal acts at the Newport Fire Company allowed to remain on the job as a paid Bensalem firefighter and has not been charged. Why have the victim and the witnesses been "encouraged" by members of the Fire Marshal’s office NOT to pursue the matter.

7.    Why did Harran spend so much time investigating a certain fire company, for thievery for over several months, yet found nothing, and is currently falsely prosecuting a fire chief’s son for insurance fraud, but when a high ranking fire official from Cornwells Fire Co. (Who is also a paid fire fighter!) sends nude pictures of himself to a female volunteer, an incomplete 2 day investigation (Neither perpetrator or victim are interviewed, and NO cell phones are confiscated!!), and reveals its “unfounded”.

8.    Why the $5 million dollar so called “state of the art (words of the Director of Public Safety) fire training center in Bensalem, has now been proven to be less than sub-standard. Members of the Bensalem Fire Service attending a recent Bucks County Fire Chiefs meeting at the new training center in Croydon were amazed with the capabilities of the new fire school. Ask also why the members Service were provided false information by certain township officials about the capabilities of our facility.

9.    Why is Harran helping a politically connected fire official in Bensalem that has a school district job and is under investigation for falsification of his time sheets (He was leaving his job and getting paid to visit his girlfriend during the day.), to escape any real prosecution? Is it because this because the high ranking official backed Harran in his actions against Union Fire Co.??

I just learned, that the location of this marina where this injury occurred, was none other than the Neshaminy State Marina!! Yes, this is is the very boat club Haman and Henry VIII told NOT to let Union Fire Co. keep their boat at! You see, "his royal highness" and Haman have been involved in pressuring EVERY marina and yacht club in Bensalem to NOT allow Union to dock their boat with them. Now that they have to settle for keeping it somewhere in Tullytown!! If Union were not being harassed by you Haman (YES YOU!!), this fire could have been put out a whole lot quicker and more efficiently.

The mayor is behind this stall tactic, and will do ANYTHING to keep this from becoming a reality, because he hates the Charter School. Its like someone commented: "Here you have a successful school that provides an alternative to our public schools and the council by appearances and delaying this decision is trying to protect the local school district from additional loss of students to charter schools."
Another person also correctly pointed out that it IS unconstitutional to put an enrollment cap on this, so if council isn't careful, they will be in DEEP trouble. Of course, they already are, for allowing an ILLEGALLY established paid fire company to be established.

I was just informed earlier, that since the Bensalem Council are going to bring this up at the next council meeting in two weeks. ALL democrats, and anyone else who cares about this issue be at this meeting!! Let's start asking these important questions, including why they are allowing someone who is under investigation for criminal activities within the school district, to STILL be a paid fire fighter

Name where you SPECIFICALLY said you would debate me in a council meeting?? I want to see the EXACT quote!! If you wish to debate me so badly, then you would've done so already. However since you wouldn't even bother to debate me in ANY situation, why would I want to "fight an unarmed individual"? You're too cowardly to even reveal who you are, which shows me and others that you're full of it. I have no need to debate you in any setting, but I will be at a council meeting when you least expect it.
As for the other statements you made, they ate not only flat out lies, but ...the only "house of cards" that is coming down, is the one that the township has built.
Try to Refute These Facts:
1. Paid fire department...continues to be over budget.
2. Paid fire department...paid firefighter attacks volunteer firefighter, township covers up the incident
3. Paid fire department...more accidents in the last two years then the rest of the fire companies combined
4. Paid fire department is still in violation of township ordinance
5. Director of Public Safety continues to refuse to explain the false and inaccurate information contained in the Townships SAFER grant application
6. Director of Public Safety never interviewed the victim of the sexual harassment by one of the paid firefighters
7. The township training center continues to crumble with no plan in place to address these issues
8. The township is heading for its third straight year of deficit spending.

Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) has introduced S.2205. INSIST THAT BOTH THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE PASS S.2205 NOW!

A BILL

To prohibit funding to negotiate a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that restricts the Second Amendment rights of United States citizens.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the Second Amendment Sovereignty Act of 2012.

SEC. 2. FINDINGS; SENSE OF CONGRESS.

(a) Findings- Congress makes the following findings:

(1) In October 2009, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced the United States support and participation in negotiating the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, to be finalized in 2012, signaling a shift in United States policy.

(2) An Arms Trade Treaty that regulates the domestic manufacturer, possession, or purchase of civilian firearms and ammunition would infringe on the rights of United States citizens protected under the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

(b) Sense of Congress- It is the sense of Congress that the sovereignty of the United States and the constitutionally protected freedoms of American gun owners must be upheld and not be undermined by the Arms Trade Treaty.

SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING.

No funds may be obligated or expended to use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States, in connection with negotiations for a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, to restrict in any way the rights of United States citizens under the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States, or to otherwise regulate domestic manufacture, assembly, possession, use, transfer, or purchase of firearms, ammunition, or related items, including small arms, light weapons, or related materials.

Just in case you missed it, the proposed UN treaty would include:

• Establishment of a new UN agency, the Implementation Support Unit, with power to regulate anything having to do with guns that might be sold internationally;
• A requirement that every country submit its gun control plan to the UN;
• A requirement for every country to implement internal tracking of all gun sales within its borders (outright registration!); and,
• A ridiculously expensive requirement for every single of round of ammunition to be stamped with a unique serial number.

Congress HAS to support S.2205 in order to thwart President Obama, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, and the gun-grabbers at the UN!

As former U.S. ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, once stated: "This [treaty] will strengthen the hand of a government that wants to regulate private ownership of firearms."

You've expressed your outrage. Now, Senator Moran has listened and we have A REAL BILL TO STOP THIS! The only way for the bill to get through Congress is for YOU to push it through. Insist Congress Stand Up for the Second Amendment

At a recent meeting of the members of the Pennsylvania Yacht Club some interesting information was provided to the members. The Mayor and Director of Public Safety claimed that the Union Fire company "bit off more than they could chew" referring to the new marine unit. The Public Safety Director told members of the Yacht Club that the fire company cannot afford the new fire boat. The Public Safety Director told a member of the Board of Directors that if the Mayor said they could help the Union Fire Company by docking the boat at the Yacht Club it would be okay with him. The Mayor told a member of the Board of Directors that if it was okay with the Director of Public Safety, he saw no problem with docking the boat there? Can anyone say "left hand, meet right hand"?
Well, Haman, that yesterday's chemical fire, would've been a whole lot easier to handle, if Union Fire Co. was able to use their boat!! I just learned that in light of "his royal highness" and Haman being involved in pressuring EVERY marina and yacht club in Bensalem to NOT allow Union to dock their boat with them. Now that they have to settle for keeping it somewhere in Tullytown!!

More Proof Haman and the Township are Hiding Things From Us!!

This was a recent response to a right to know request I made concerning the township's paid fire fighters and the training/ certification that have IF ANY. They are offering to give me the info, but I want to see if it is up to specs, and if its legit.

A friend of mine sent me this, and as I read it, it showed me just how two faced the liberal elite truly are.

"I was wondering why no Occupiers protested Obama's Hollywood meeting. I mean, those entire rich Hollywood one per centers! The place was ripe for an Occupy gathering. :) I really do wonder if the Hollywood people truly believe in spreading the wealth, then why is it that they all live in mansions? Why don't they sell them, buy modest houses in the suburbs, then they could share their wealth to help the less fortunate. That would seem consistent with the verbal ideology they profess. I just find it ironic, that Hollywood likes to lampoon Christians and portray us as hypocrites. What's more hypocritical than screaming "share the wealth" and then not sharing it and living in luxury while others starve? Just saying..."

I don't know about anyone else, but that really makes a LOT of sense to me.

This is what happens when you spend money you don't have, and initiate programs that aren't effective, or affordable. I went to all day Kindergarten in the 70's, and while it was effective then, its not now, and the school district has more important things to deal with, such as the falsification of those time cards, especially the ones done by a paid fire fighter who also works for the school district. You KNOW who you are!!!

He successfully covered up the sexual harassment of a female volunteer from Cornwells, with an INCOMPLETE TWO DAY INVESTIGATION, not this! If I were the members of Newport Fire Company (Where this paid FF Volunteers.) I would be outraged over this, and expel him from the Fire Co.!! I would also be making a MAJOR issue of this to the council, the mayor, and EVERY news outlet out there!!

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State
Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All
Firearms in the United States. The Obama administration intends to
force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens
through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By
signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nationsand individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of
gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health
care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.
