I
know I don't post on here much, because I have a busy life, but I had to say
something in regards to what happened to Andrew Wolf and Sarah Bergstrom. To
start with, I want to say to the families of Andrew and Sarah that my heart
aches for you guys, and that my husband and I are praying for you. Especially
to the family of Sarah, I offer the deepest condolences yet, and that I pray
that justice is served against the individual that did this despicable thing.
That
being said, I am very disgusted with how this happened, because the person that
did this was someone that shouldn't have been here in the 1st place. I want to
make something clear here. I know that there were many brave Afghanis who risk
their lives their everything to help Americans, because they saw what the
Taliban were like, hated it, and wanted to help the Americans so that they
could live in a free country when the Taliban took over after the disastrous
withdrawal under the Biden administration, they allowed any Afghani who wanted
to come in here to come in here without any proper vetting, and that is what
happened I believe with this individual. I further want to state that we need
to make sure that those who come into our country, are properly vetted, so that
we know just who they are, why they're coming in here, and what risk if any
they pose to our nation.
We
need to make sure that everyone that comes in to our country comes in here the
right way, that is the legal way, and that they go through every strict process,
every means necessary to prove that they are loyal to our country. That's why I
so applaud what our president is about to do, and making sure that all
immigration, whatever paperwork or anything being processed for any Afghani is paused,
until the process can be made more efficient and safer.
