IF you have done NOTHING wrong, (Which I believe you haven't.), then stand up to this rotten little dictator, kick out the trash, and call Harran's bluff!! This man is nothing more than a coward, who is abusing the authority God gave him, and needs to be FIRED!!

One thing for certain, if this is how they are trying to recruit more volunteers, they must really be desperate. I know in Bensalem its difficult to get any, because of dictators like Harran trying to ruin other fire companies reputations that don't give into his tantrums. Yes, I said dictator!!!
To the brave men of Union Fire Co. I urge you to as soon as possible, VOTE "no confidence" on Jim Hackman, and make it stick. He is in NO WAY qualified to be a chief, and Harran has NO authority to appoint a chief for ANY VOLUNTEER fire department. He violated township municipal code in forming the paid fire department, and is making up things and rules as he goes along, to cover his tracks. Hey "Hitler" Harran!! I know you made up lies against Troisi, Carmichael, and Bomentre, but they backfired. You're still trying to be a BULLY, and its NOT going to work. there are LOTS of people in Bensalem who have seen the council meeting, and are now asking LOTS of questions as to your conduct.

1. Director of Public Safety Fred Harran stated that during the shutdown of the Union Fire Company a fire call came out at the furthest part of Union's district. He further stated that the Cornwells Fire Company responded within the National standard. That was incorrect. I have news for you Harran: A chief's vehicle does not count as a firefighting vehicle response for the purpose of the National standard. See N.F.P.A. Code: 1720 for the standard.

Harran has been lying on quite a few other things as well, and now he attempts to cover this up, by either "changing the rules" (I.E. Making up a new township municipal code.) , or changing his story/statement(s), (from not giving water to "delayed giving water"), so he can make himself look good. Problem is that it is NOT working. People are seeing through this and asking questions. This was evident at Monday's council meeting, which showed Fred's obvious treachery and his lack of integrity. This alone, should show anyone that he is not capable of leading our police department, as well as Ponticelli, and need to be FIRED!! the ONLY way this will occur, is if we as citizens of this town, as well as the firefighters band together and help each other. Firefighters, come to our next BDO Meeting, and don't worry about plants. Dems, lets reach out and start helping those Firefighters who are being treated poorly,and stand with our candidates.

Of course Fred Harran's EMS toady Tom "My Squad's Always Broke" Topley, would make the statement he made. Freddie boy has him on his very own leash. If Topley claims he loses $48,000.00 from unpaid bills, how does he explain the tax increase to cover a $1,500,000.00 loss? That doesn't make sense!

Just a few things to get you to think:

   I I found it rather interesting that when the Council was asked how they were going to pay for the Paid firefighters after the grant runs out, the Mayor responded that it would come out of the fire budget. Gee, if we do the math we see that it will cost approximately $500,000.00 to $600,000.00 to pay for the paid fire company each year when the grant is gone. That is approximately $100,000.00 per Fire Company! How are the fire companies going to function when more than half of our funding is taken away? Another interesting thing the mayor said was that the 1st year of the Safer Grant covered only 90% of the paid fire department's expenses. This is rather interesting, since according to what I SAW of the Grant, based on it having been given to us September 9, 2009. As such this is how the breakdown of the Safer Grant is supposed to go:

09-19-2009 to 09-19-2010 100% percent of the grant would go to the complete funding the paid fire department, then AFTER that year was up, it covered 80%,50%, and so on.) Evidently, Joey D was lying! If by chance Harran happens to be seeing this, show me the grant, and PROVE ME WRONG!!
Then Pizzo, the solicitor ( You know, one of two we pay for to attend the meeting at $350.00 per hour apiece!) stated that our budget is balanced. IF this is so, then why did we have a budget shortfall of $6,500,000.00. He then admitted that they took $6,500,000.00 from the reserve fund to balance last year's budget. When asked how they planned to balance the budget for this year, they refused to answer any questions about how they intend to balance the budget this year. I guess we have to wait until after the election to hear about the funding shortfall. They get $11,000,000.00 a year from the casino and yet they still had a $6,500,000.00 shortfall! That means we are spending at over a $17,000,000.00 deficit! Guys, I have a copy of the township's budget, and they are operating with a potential of at least a $9,807,895.00 deficit!
