"Well, I told you, I'm a recovering Republican. :) I'm an indie voter because if a person takes an HONEST look at the New Testament, they'll realize that many things Jesus and the apostles taught would be deemed "conservative" today, but equally as much would fall into the liberal camp. I'm sick of the GOP trying to make people feel that to be a Christain is to vote for them; it is, in my mind, an insult to the faith to imply one must vote for a particular party to be a follower of Christ. I like to point out to my Republican friends, Jesus said we're to remember the poor and help them. Republican candidates usually insult the poor or ignore them altogether...what's Christian about that? Nothing. In the book of Acts, rich Christains sold their surplus of possessions and gave the money they made from selling it to the poor. Can't you see them advocating that at a GOP rally? How many votes would Romney or any republican get if he spoke Jesus' exact words to the rich young ruler to the crowd at a GOP convention, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven" Ever seen a Republican sell their Hummer to buy a cheaper car and give their surplus money to the poor? Just curious. Anyone...anyone....Buehler......Buehler... :)"

On top of all that, we have a sitting President, who has emasculated our military, and gone on an "Apology Tour" for things the United States doesn't need to apologize over!!"
This is why I vote the Bible, and NOT based on party lines. This is why I base my decisions on who stays or goes into office, because I want that person to make sure they match up with God's Principles, NOT MINE!

Bet you didn't think I would catch on to what you were doing did you? I made a simple request over 3 weeks ago, and you decide to stone wall it, with a request for $$$. I explained to your more than honorable Right to Know Records Officer, I intended to take care of this by the end of this week, but when you received my most recent RTK, you had to be a bully, and pull this little stunt, didn't you?  I find it rather immature and insulting, that you chose to stone wall my request of May 24, 2012 over this matter, which shows me your intent to deny me this information. I also find it very incredulous that you and the township insist on saying that Sponheimer is not a Fire Marshal/Battalion Chief, when the newspaper and the township’s web site, states otherwise. Doubt me?Just read Below:

A Very Astute Comment From a Friend:

This came to my from a very good friend, who rally hits the nail on the head, in this area. It also gets one to thinking as to just what our government is supposed to be, and how we have strayed from the founding fathers intent.

"Was watching the news, can't tell if it is ignorance or intentional deceit that newsmen and our political leaders don't seem to know what kind of government we have. They keep referring to our "Democracy" when we don't have a Democracy, we have a Democratic Republic; there is actually a big difference. Thomas Jefferson called "Democracy" a tyranny where 51% could oppress the other 49%. Just can't help but wonder, are the news people and our leaders really so stupid they actually don't know what kind of gov't we have or is this being done on purpose?"

Start telling the truth for once! You go after Union Fire Co. under FALSE PRETENSES,(Yes, I have proof YOU LIED!!), then you have your mug and voice in the media whenever possible to destroy their reputation, as well as others associated with them. Now all of a sudden, when a criminal act occurs involving one of your "boys", or when something FACTUAL like this occurs, you clam up! I'm just wondering, how did you manage to "convince" that poor volunteer that was beaten by one of Sponheimer"s men, to NOT file charges? How could you conduct a two day "investigation" into allegations of sexual harassment (You know the perv from Cornwells, who sent nude pics of himself to a female volunteer?), and not even interview the victim or the accused, let alone retrieve cell phones for evidence?? These are criminal acts, and you COVERED THEM UP!!
Now your precious paid fire department is spending so much $$$ like its going out of style, you're planning on taking more funds from the volunteer fire companies, and you have even more fire companies/ firefighters against you!! Looks like your world is crumbling around you, and its not a pretty sight.

Why is it that people just can't wait for the Memorial Day Festivities, and try to start a "Cook Out" of their own?? Don't they know by now, that fire IS dangerous? Maybe they should've had their precious paid fire company, take care of this??? I guess we're going to have Smokey the Bear come and visit Haman and his crew, to show them how to not only put out dangerous fires, but also how not to start them to begin with!!
