LET’S START WITH HAVING ADDED OVER 25 NEW POLICE OFFICERS TO THE BTPD:
Put more police officers on the street! Where? In fact, Bensalem is the only police department where more than 50% of its sworn officers are not assigned to patrol (the street). Why do we even have these indoor only cops?? They can be put out on patrol, and whatever duties they’re doing can be done by civilians at a much cheaper labor rate! Also, please explain why they only show up after a crime happens and they do nothing to prevent it?? Put more police officers on the street! Where? You and yet another lawyer for the township could not even identify which court the case would be filed in. If you even bothered to investigate you would have discovered that previous attempts to sue these companies have been thrown out of court. This was nothing more than a political stunt. You were called out on the stunt and refused to address.
CREATED A DAYTIME FIRE COMPANY?? YEAH RIGHT!!
Tell the truth for once, your majesty. You had nothing to do with it. When you were shown that it was created illegally and employing township firefighters in direct violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (CFR 29 553.100 through 106) stating no one can volunteer for the same job they are paid by a municipality to perform). You were told this several times by members of the community and members of the township fire service. Your response: "we got an exemption: From Federal law? You should contact Bristol Township and other area municipalities that are required to follow the Federal law and show them how we did it! Also, the way the fire department is operated is in clear violation of many NFPA standards including proper manning and accountability. Of course, you suspended a fire company in our township for doing the exact things your paid department is currently doing! Even the IAFF stated that what your doing is illegal and a safety hazard for the firefighters. Wait, I bet you are going to claim you knew nothing about the dangerous conditions!
EARNED THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE BENSALEM POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION AND THE
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP ASSOCIATION OF FIRE COMPANIES?? Don’t make me barf!! Please explain the following: Earned National Accreditation for our police department. Please explain HOW that happened?? They had to go back a get national accreditation again after losing it in 1998! What caused it to get taken from you in the 1st place?? Well, this was due to the mishandling and disregard for policies by the former and current director of public safety at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars to the taxpayer. In fact, when it was lost in 1998 the current administration when confronted stated it didn't matter! Than why did we spend all that money to get it back? How about this bit of information: the establishment of the fire training center?? What a joke!! They wasted $5,300,000.00 on a training center for the fire department that they can't even conduct live fire training burns in! They were so in a rush to "beat the county" they forgot to include hydrants at the training center! This was yet another cost that was not planned for! With a fully functional county owned and operated training center less than 10 minutes from our township, this was a complete waste of our funds. Despite what the director of public safety said on the propaganda channel, this is not a state of the art training facility. In fact, in the state and national fire service it is known as the "great white elephant at the end of the turnpike". While you’re at it, please explain how YOU allowed the persecution of Union Fire Company?
