THE WEB IS GETTING VERY TANGLED!!

Proverbs 6:16-17:’

Funny as I read this today, it immediately reminded me of the letter I received from “His Majesty” just yesterday in my mail. I opened the letter and the contents of it were so outrageous, I couldn’t help but laugh. You see, our illustrious mayor and council, are seeking your vote this Tuesday, so they distribute this desperate letter in hopes that you will not investigate anything written in this, and vote for them. However, you need to carefully examine ALL the facts concerning this letter, before you cast your vote, so it isn’t wasted, by buying into slander.

The first thing I found laughable, was our mayor’s expounding on the following: “As a result, we all share in the extraordinary record of success and accomplishments that has earned Bensalem national and local recognition as ‘One of the top 100 Best Places to Live in America’, ‘One of the100 best communities for Young People”, and a ‘Model for America’.” Problem is, that ALL of these accolades are a joke! They were all invested by the mayor to give to prominent magazines, to make themselves look good. Then if that wasn’t laughable enough, he again FALSELY touts how they “hired more police officers, and provided the first responders in this town with the “best training and equipment available”, and the disaster of a Fire Training Center on Street Road, by calling it “state of the art”.

Now for the really big whopper of the letter.  The mayor begins to proudly state how he gave ALL homeowners their Home Owners Assistance Grant Payments of $100, like he is proud of this. He then goes on to FALSELY accuse the Bensalem Democrats, of saying that there would be NO Homeowners Assistance grant THIS YEAR!!. How does he do this, you ask?? He takes a statement Bryan Allen made in an article within the Bucks County Courier Times

Here are the straight facts on this matter. Even in the Patch, this was NEVER said, so all I can say is, what were you thinking by printing this blatant lie, Your Majesty???

He also falsely claims that these candidates are inexperienced, and uninformed, when one of the candidates was on council, for a full term, and has access to the township’s budget!! If the incumbents are so experienced, and trustworthy, then why was it that when asked some very serious questions a few weeks ago by some concerned citizens, they had NO answers!! Also we have yet to learn what Mr. Mathieu’s qualifications are to be on council, and what even remotely qualifies for the vacant facilities manager position within the school district??

Your Majesty, you also fail to see that there ARE problems within Bensalem. Problems created by your overspending, greed, and complete lack of self-control. You fail to handle our town’s finances properly, by overspending, and allowing much needed funds to be taken from the volunteer fire companies, all so you can lavish the paid fire department INSTALLED ILEGALLY BY THE WAY. You can’t ignore the school district investigation, and say that the candidates you support are honorable, when this scandal happened on their watch.  

IT’S TIME FOR ALL THE CITIZENS OF BENSALEM, TO KNOW THE TRUTH, AND TO KNOW IT NOW.
