HEY GANG!! HOW IS EVERYONE’S SATURDAY GOING?? MINE’S BEEN GOING WELL, AND AFTER THIS LATEST DELIVERY, IT REALLY GOT AWESOME! SOMEONE SLIPPED THIS INTO MY DOOR, WHILE OUT ACCOMPLISHING ERRANDS, AND IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE EYE OPENER!
We met for breakfast this morning and discussed the fact that the Mayor and Director of Public Safety have no shame! The Director of Public Safety contacted Trevose Fire Company and told them he wanted their press conference about their SAFER grant to be held at the township building! They actually wanted it to appear that they had something to do with the fire company getting the SAFER grant! In reality, they had nothing to do with it!
The Trevose Fire Company saw the disaster of the township paid part time fire department, and decided to do something about it, ON THEIR OWN. This department was intended to work WITH the volunteer fire companies. Instead they have done everything to reduce the number of daytime volunteer firefighters. Well, the Trevose Fire Company saw the ongoing disaster, and took action! Instead of having an undermanned piece of fire apparatus responding to fires during weekdays, we will now have a FULLY MANNED piece of fire apparatus responding which can actually begin fighting fires when it arrives on the scene of an emergency! Imagine that!
The very people who have been screwing with the FIVE other volunteer fire companies (we don't count the other fire company as volunteer, as it is mostly made up of paid township employees and Bensalem Rescue Squad employees), attempted to get Trevose to do a press conference AT THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING. You see, they want it to appear that they had something to do with Trevose finding a better way at a substantial savings to the taxpayers! Good thing, they said NO! Can we say SHAMELESS??
This shameless act coming less than one month after the Mayor's repeated denials of knowing or appointing Cosmo DiNardo to the township drug and alcohol advisory board is pathetic at best. Does the Mayor really believe that the majority of our citizens are idiots! The excuses from the Director of Public Safety regarding the dismissed charges against DiNardo are disgusting at best.
Thank goodness, that Trevose Fire Company is leading the way to clean up a mess created by the Mayor and his appointed henchmen.
Oh....before we forget, Dawn Davis is appointed as special assistant to the Mayor?!!! You have got to be kidding me!! Once again, no shame!
HOW SHAMELESS AND BRAZEN CAN ONE GET?? GUESS WHEN IT INVOLVES HIS MAJESTY AND SHERRIFF LOBO, THERE’S NO LIMITS. I HAVE TO SAY THANK YOU TREVOSE FIRE COMPANY FOR STANDING UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, AND NOT GIVING INTO THE INTIMIDATION AND GUILT TACTICS OF THE TOWNSHIP. I GUESS THIS IS LIVING PROOF OF WHAT THE SCRIPTURES SAY...
