Not only is the township over six million dollars in the hole, but the school district is now grasping at straws to get money its NOT entitled to!! I just learned, the following information:
The police department has taken the cost of the School Resource Officer and placed the whole burden on the school district.The Township handed the school district a bill for over $190,000.00! This is the two salaries, benefits and vehicles! The police department used to pay half!
The police department benefits far more from the program then the school district does!Looks like the township and the Police department are desperately looking for ways to get money to cover the budget gaps!
