THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO MISTAKENLY THINK ILL OF THOSE OF US ON UNEMPLOYMENT
1. This is NOT your tax money!! People such as "Jill" paid into the unemployment fund when they were working, and they worked for quite some time in order to qualify. They lost their job through no fault of their own (otherwise they wouldn't be eligible for benefits). In fact, their jobs disappeared because of the economy. They are NOT living a life of luxury on about 50 percent of what they were earning previously. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR WORK!!
2. Many unemployed have G.E.D.'s, H.S. Diplomas, and College degrees up the Wazoo!! Some have even gone back to school to further their education, but have had NO LUCK!!In short, not every person on Unemployment, is a "Drug using high school dropouts", looking for a free ride.
